Pastor Moses Han

Moses Han was appointed to Gladeville Methodist Church as the Pastor in June 2021. He was born and raised in Seoul South Korea and came to the United States when he was 19 years old.  

Pastor Moses completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History.  He pursued further education at Drew Theological Seminary, where he obtained a Master of Divinity degree in 1998.  Additionally, he also earned a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2001.

He became a provisional member in 2002, was ordained as an Elder in 2007, and has served the following appointments.

Korean Nashville UMC (2002 – 2006)

Decherd UMC (2006 – 2009)

St. Andrew Memorial UMC (2009 – 2014)

Fairfield Glade UMC (2014 – 2021)

Gladeville Methodist Church (2021 – Current)

Pastor Moses surrendered his clergy credential based on his decision to sever his relationship as an ordained elder with the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference and the United Methodist Church.

Pastor Moses has been an ordained clergy in the Global Methodist Church since November 2023 after transferring his membership from the United Methodist Church.

Pastor Moses is married to Esther, and they have two children, Joshua and Abigail.
