Young At Heart

Young at Heart is one of the newest ministries in our church—created to bring connection, laughter, and meaningful community to the older adults in our congregation. Staying socially active is a powerful part of aging well, helping prevent loneliness, lifting spirits, and even improving sleep.

We gather monthly for either an adventure away or a themed gathering right here in our fellowship hall. Every outing is designed with one goal in mind: have fun, learn something new, share our stories, and stay rooted in ministry‑minded fellowship. Whether we’re exploring, reminiscing, or simply enjoying each other’s company, we want every moment to reflect Christ’s love and the joy He gives.

We begin each time together with a prayer of protection and close with a prayer of thanksgiving. And without fail, there’s always a “God Moment”—a reminder that He is present in every mile, every conversation, and every laugh we share.
